Q: Which cane is right for someone my size?
A: Stand as straight as possible, with your arms hanging at your side. Measure the distance between the floor and your wrist. Find your measurement in the list below to determine which cane is right for you.

24.5" - 32.5" - Sure Step® Jr. (typically for adolescents or adults under 5' 1")
29.5" - 38.5" - Sure Step®
32.8" - 40.0" - Sure Foot® (able to handle heavier users, up to 450 pounds)

Q: Which Strutter® size will function best for me?
A: Strutters® are available in three sizes -- to fit everyone from a small child to a tall adult. The measurement used to determine the correct size/length is the distance from the floor to your underarm. Be sure you are standing as tall as possible, and have someone else measure you, if possible.

46.0" - 66.5" - Strutter® (Adult size)
38.0" - 47.0" - Strutter® Jr.
28.0" - 39.0" - Strutter® Mini

Q: Do Strutters® have to be fitted or adjusted by a professional?
A: Having help may ensure a proper fit, however, your Strutters® will arrive with instructions on how to properly adjust them. They should not be fitted like crutches. While standing tall, the underarm support should be raised snuggly against your underarms. Then, lower them one notch. If this is uncomfortable, they can be lowered another notch.

Q: Will Medicare or my other health insurance cover my purchase?
A: All of our products may be reimbursable through Medicare or private health insurance. Check with your insurance company for specific reimbursement amounts or requirements. The following may be used as a guideline:

ICW-010: Strutter® Functional Orthosis - Allowable $380 pair (HCPCS Code E0117)
ICW-020: Sure Foot® - Medicare Allowable $48 each (HCPCS Code E0105)
ICW-030: Sure Step® - Medicare Allowable $48 each (HCPCS Code E0105)
ICW-035: Sure Step® Jr. - Allowable $48 each (HCPCS Code E0105)
ICW-040: Sure Foot® Forearm - Pair - (HCPCS Code E0110 pair)
ICW-045: Sure Foot® Forearm - Single - (HCPCS Code E0111)

Q: How should the hand grips be adjusted on the Strutters®?
A: The hand grips should be adjusted with the Allen wrench supplied with the Strutter® shipment. Your arms should only be slightly bent (unlike crutches). While in use, your weight should be shared with the underarm support and not carried solely by your hands.

Q: My Sure Foot® / Sure Step® / Strutter® is starting to squeak. Can I oil the springs?
A: The squeak you are hearing is most likely from the center rivet on the base. Try spraying WD40 or a silicon spray on each connection point on the entire base, including the springs and rivets. That should do the trick!

Q: Do your products come with a warranty?
A: Our products include a 30-day money-back guarantee, as well as a 90-day warranty on all parts and labor. Beyond 90 days, repairs and replacement parts are available. We're happy to announce that the vast majority of our customers find our products are built to last, and many have been using their canes daily over the course of many years without ever having the need for replacement or repair!

Q: What is your return policy?
A: Products we've sold include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Please call for a Return Authorization code before sending any merchandise. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and a restocking fee will apply: $5 per Sure Foot® or Sure Step® / $25 per pair of Strutters®.

Q: Where are your products made?
A: We are proud that all of our products are made in the USA.
